John Wilkinson - Partner / Vice President of Specifications

John began his career in the lighting industry in 1981 working for the GE Lighting Business Group, primarily working with electrical distributors. Many significant changes occurred in the industry since those days. HPS and Metal Halide lamps were the hot technology then. In the mid to late 80’s, compact fluorescent lamps began to replace incandescent lamps.

In 1990 John left GE to enter the agency business. Today, primarily working with architects and engineers, John is promoting LED light sources, and working with sophisticated lighting control systems.
